What we did for Get Haxed

Get Haxed, known for their mobile axe throwing experiences, recently acquired a permanent location attached to an established escape room company, "Rushden Escape Rooms."

The Challenge

They needed to update their website fast, unfortunately their "web guy" was difficult to pin down and updates were taking weeks rather than days, sometimes not at all.  They needed a better solution to keep their stress levels down as adding details of their new venue and a new online booking service was important.

The Solution

A user-friendly and mobile-friendly website with clear visual and informational distinction between the two offerings.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the results produced by David.  If you're looking for a website design company that does fantastic work and is a pleasure to deal with, look no further than DRA.

The Goals

The Goals

Increase brand awareness: Showcase the uniqueness of their events.
Improve user experience: Offer a seamless navigation experience for both mobile and in-house axe throwing.
Drive bookings: Simplify the booking process for both individual services and combined experiences.
Maintain brand identity: Preserve Get Haxed's established brand voice and visual identity.
Improved Communications: Ensuring website updates and additions are carried out in a timely fashion and without fuss, allowing the owners to get on with running their business without worrying about the website.

The Implementation

Hero section: A dynamic video background featuring Get Haxed's logo and imagery showcasing Axe Throwing.
Booking Section: Loading dynamically only when someone wants to make a booking.
Pricing section: Opens in a modal, therefore available anywhere from the page.
Maintain Get Haxed's branding: Retain the established logo, colour scheme, and fonts, ensuring brand recognition.
Mobile-friendly design: Responsive design ensuring optimal user experience on all devices, catering to users booking mobile axe throwing experiences.

The Conclusion

By creating a user-friendly website with clear distinction between its mobile and fixed-location offerings, Get Haxed successfully leveraged their established brand to promote their new location and partnership with Rushden Escape Rooms.  The website redesign resulted in increased brand awareness, user engagement, and bookings, solidifying their position as a unique entertainment provider with diverse offerings.
